The Spirit of Christmas Community Outreach sponsored by Spirit Recovery Ministries Inc. in partnership with Light of the World Church of God in Christ of Riverside, CA was more than a toy giveaway today; it was an expression of genuine caring for our community. The children and families that attended were given the opportunity to share in caroling, storytelling, singing, and lots of fun. Each child left with more than a toy, they left knowing that we care for them during the holiday season and afterwards.
a total of 114 children and adults ages 0-12, and 25+ youth ages 12-17 were served the day of the outreach. This makes for a real Christmas celebration.
